Infant Classroom Virtual Tour
Since September 2023, ACPC has cared for infants from 6 weeks of age
ACPC thanks the City of Ames for their guidance and support in creating this beautiful space for our children to explore and grow in a safe and calm learning environment. Our infant classroom allows ACPC to provide care for eight Ames are surrounding area families. This much needed service in the city of Ames comes with ACPC's renown quality programming.
Emergent Curriculum
The Roly Poly classroom will follow an emergent curriculum approach. This means our teachers will thoughtfully plan the environment, offering activities, songs and sensory experiences based on the children’s skills and needs. Teachers will conduct ongoing written observations and use their notes to plan based on their observations of the children. Roly Poly teachers will utilize reflective practice, taking the time to reflect on their observations.
